Random Number Generator

A general random number generator is available from the main menu as shown here.

Enter the random number parameters in the control provided, shown below.

Enter the count of numbers to generate, the range from which the numbers will be selected, the number of sets to generate and whether duplicates are allowed.

Random number generators naturally produce duplicate numbers.

If No Duplicates is checked, only one set of numbers can be generated at a time.

Uniform Distribution
This feature was originally designed to demonstrate the uniform distribution of Randomware's random number generator.  To demonstrate uniform distribution, select 100 or 1000 sets of 10 random numbers, between 1 and 100.  After the numbers are generated, press the Cancel button to exit the control and review the numbers.  Click on the heading Random No., above the numbers generated to sort the column of numbers.  You will find that the numbers  1, 2, ..., 100, occur equally, more or less, thereby, demonstrating the uniform distribution of the randomizer.
